The jet-engine truck featured at the Midland Commemorative Air Force airshow in Midland, Texas. I got to see inside the truck and the driver seat is very small, and right next to that big jet-engine that fires a flame maybe a good thirty feet in length, and which sends the truck traveling at speeds greater than 340mph. There was also a race between the Truck and a plane named Dracula: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSafQQ2ltn8 Taken at the Midland Commemorative Air Force airshow in October 2014. Flight TOM 7260 from East Midlands to Tenerife on 22 November 2016 turned back towards East Midlands and circled south of the airport for a while before diverting to Birmingham. I do not know the reason for the above, but the 737 was reported overweight for the landing - despite having burnt off some fuel while circling - and requested fire service attendance. Landing overweight means landing faster and heavier than normal, so the 'fumes' around the wheel after touchdown may have been due to overheating brakes rather than a symptom of whatever caused the diversion.
Well, my first proper late evening visit this summer, and what not to try another new airport out, in other words this was a first visit for me, EMA. I'm also a big fan of cargo aircraft, so this airport perfectly suited my needs. We got there for around about 3 in the afternoon, I thought I'd get a few commercial aircraft as well to start with. We stayed till just gone 10pm. And what a beautiful sunset to stay and see as you will notice through the video Again apologies for the longish video, so what I've done is feature some of the times of interesting movements below: If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, share and subscribe Twitter: https://twitter.com/Platter1199 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Casey-Plane-Spotting-1690534827843943/ Times of interesting movements: C...
The Airbus A380 Super Jumbo Landing on runway 27, backtracking along the runway turning off at whiskey and parking on the cargo east apron. Later departing runway 27 with taxi up close and departure, great sound when at full thrust. 09/11/2012

1080p HD! A fantastic morning spotting at East Midlands Airport on Friday 13th June 2014 filmed between 07:45 and 11. The main reason for this trip was to catch the one and only Antonov 225 depart bound for Toulouse at 10:45. INCLUDES: Antonov 225, Saudi Arabian Air Force C-130 Hercules, Thomson (FCA) 767 (empty to Birmingham), Ryanair 737's, Flybe Dash8's (including new purple livery), Thomas Cook A321, BMI ERJ and more. Apologies for the background noise, there was dogs and lots of people around, the Antonov 225 had attracted quite an audience. I've uploaded the Antonov 225 footage separately, so look out for that too! Thanks for watching! Filmed on December 1st, 2016 This is my fourth 1:400 scale model (and first Jet-X model) that I've bought for my commercial airliner model collection; I bought the model from ebay.com for a total of $15.01. This Jet-X DC-9 model is made of die-cast, very detailed, and highly collectible! The landing gear wheels do roll; however they lack the rubber tire detail from both JC Wings and some GeminiJets models, as well as the absence of the windshield wiper detail. The British Midland DC-9 model contains details you will also find on GeminiJets, such as exit door markings and undercarraige detail. Overall, this Jet-X DC-9 looks stylish, detailed, and flawless! Jet-X is much indifferent compared to GeminiJets, but in my opinion, emphasizes on classic airliners with retro airline liveries. ...
A race between the plane Dracula and the Jet Truck, at the Midland Commemorative Air force airshow in Midland, Texas, in October 2014. For Dracula's earlier performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xXaBPKU7GI Place your bets, who's gonna win this; the plane or the truck, who are you gonna put money on?! :D I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)
1080p HD! The worlds largest aircraft, (theres only one!) The Anotonov 225 "Mriya" on Thursday 12th arrived from Riga and on Friday 13th June 2014 departed East Midlands bound for Toulouse! I'd never seen it before and this day was the perfect opportunity, it was beautiful weather conditions and a good departure time estimated to be 10:10am so I had no reason not to go and see this stunning, huge and extremely rare aircraft! The departure was just under an hour later than planned, but the Antonov taxied out behind a Saudi Arabian Air Force C-130 Hercules. Due to her size however the AN225 made its way straight to runway, to backtrack down RWY09. It then returned to the taxiway, turning off at "W1" which meant for a perfect head-on shot! It then took a left turn and continued down the ta...
